If you've got a few hours to kill, you have to admire his ambition, if not his knowledge or engineering ability.
Testing if a turbo is spinning by sticking your fingers in it is a novel approach.

There's a reason to use a wooden former for a clay or foam buck, which you finish to *mirror* and from which you take a mould.

He's enthusiastic but my word everything he did he did wrong! (including trying to copy a pretty ugly car to start with...)
