Ditto. I might try and stop by also. Found a pay and display last year but more luck than judgement as quite a wait for spaces and no idea where it was.

That's your best bet is to try and find one of them, as I believe some of them will be free due to be being a bank holiday.

I believe that all open parking in Horsham will be FREE on Monday as Alexis has pointed out, being a bank holiday. Depending on weather........? It will probably be busy. If you click HERE it is a guide to all HDC parking sites. Other supermarkets and private parking areas will probably have time restrictions applied. Try to aim to park in the centre, all vehicles will be located there. Other car parks are only 5-10 mins walk away though and might be quieter?
Hope this helps? More info to follow shortly regarding the meeting times and location.

Just tried to see about parking for my son who wants to visit. As Ross says, public car parking will be free courtesy of Horsham District Council. It 'implies' that the Park and Ride will be available (presumably once all the show cars have left?).

As some of you will know I was 'invalided out' of this years event (and maybe some others) so Ross will be driving Thunderbox- hope to meet up with you on Monday!

The Piazza Italia website here seems to show a Fiat Coupe and Ferrari drive-through at 10.20 - 10.30 followed by static display from 10.30 onwards. That's a bit earlier than previous years as I remember - has anyone got accurate info?

Yes it's time for the wet gear, shame as the last couple of years we have been blessed with dry and quite pleasent weather. Is there room for the shelter Pete?

It's probably too big for the site Ashley, 3.5 metres square, and it also needs earth rather than pavement to fix it down.

Unfortunately not, due to H&S rules and high winds and no anchorage points it will be a liability.

Sorry for the radio silence, I've been very busy at the moment and have taken my eye off the ball on the organization front, thanks for filling in the gaps Pete.

For those who have not yet been contacted for email addresses via PM can you forward them to me so I can send you an organisation pack. This can only be done via email. And you will need to print off the blue vehicle pass for access to the event.

Monday's Timings:
Rendezvous Hop Oast* from 09:50
Depart for Bishopric via Carfax 10:20
Display in Bishopric 10:30
Ready to depart Bishopric via Bus Station & Carfax 14:45

Spoke with The organiserers today, as we are a resilient bunch wink we have been given East Street to display in. For those who have been before, it usually the location for the Alfa Romeos. There has been a fair rate of drop out of the Super Car clan, so it's time for us mear mortals to show that a bit of rain & wind doesn't faze a Fiat.
The event may be foreshortened for a 2pm finish, but meeting times and location remain the same.
See you all on Monday, bring a coat, but not a brolly - high winds too!

Thought a few would be no show...can't blame them.

BBC weather shows an improving forecast...rain first thing then brightening up for the afternoon...now saying mainly dry PM. That would be good.

Hopefully the weather is okay for the ones that are going. I'm unable to make it as the battery is flat this morning and a 20 min charge isn't enough to get get going frown

A pleasant day out despite the dodgy weather.

It was good to meet up friends, old and new.

Particularly good to see Chris (Thunderbox) up and about again after his bike accident.

Once again thanks to Ross (pondman) for organising it.

I would obviously add my thanks to Ross for coming out of retirement on my 'watch'- it was a great day and a great crowd of spectators. Thanks for everybody's best wishes concerning the accident; as you can see I'm nearly better again (?!) and so the mantle of responsibility will rest on my shoulders next year. Very good to see such a great turnout and sorry not to speak to everybody on the day. Storm Katie may have frightened off Ferrari owners but not Coupes! In fact the weather was really rather good.

Great photos Ross, you even got a shot of some of my family. Joe- you're near but so far!
