I just had standard 205 Dunlop SportMaxx RT tyres fitted all round yesterday as they come top for summer and wet weather driving. Will let you know how they go
I stuck a set of the SportMaxx GT on the Audi summer wheels after reading a German test report (Same size wheel / tyre). I really fancied the Contis, which scored higher in the test but I couldn't find them for less than £150 more
The thrifty side of me settled for the Dunlops and so far I've been rather happy with them. They have broke away a bit when pushed on the cold wet mornings we've been having. But in the warmer wet & dry they have really good if just a little firm. Much less noise than the Michelins they replaced though.
The Coupé does need tyres now too so this thread is being studied
