We were only doing 70. You must have been plodding about 40-50.

I understand about the gazebo guys. Just some suggestions.

Great to see you after so much time!

Big thanks to PeteP for getting me on the track demo this year, after missing out last year. Really enjoyed being sandwiched between a Bugatti Veyron and a Pagani Huayra in my cheapo Fiat. laugh

Also got a good view when the Lambo crashed on the corner. shocked

Weather held off for the most part, and we managed to sneak in the back entrance behind some Ferraris. The Ferraris got waved through and the stewards didn't want to let us peasants in.... money talks. But we negotiated our way in with some good old British bull**t.

Amazing Coupe turn out, and good spot near the banking too.

Hope to be there next year. I'll post some pics/vid on the club page on FB.

Nice moonie by the way.... thumb

Good to meet you guys too. If you look at the youtube videos of the track demo, you can see us from the drone's view following that huge Lambo Humvee thing. Fame ! Hope you enjoyed it.

Turbo purchase didn't go to plan. I've posted in the Coupe chat section about it. It wasn't quite as good as the advert was making out. It did drive well though. The "thrust" in 2nd and 3rd was addictive.

See you next year ?

Nice update on the Lambo Ross, wondered what the damage was and the cost!(still needs wheel refurb!) Glad the Merc has been sorted.

Is that a replacement wheel with the deeper tread depth, or did the two different tyres contribute to his pirouette?

This is how it should have come out of Torino!

@Submariner - not quite there with th Merc yet, I went for an inspection visit, and I'm glad I did.....!

@Rob40 - I think it was a loan wheel as the suspension came from another doner Gallardo in the same shop. It also looks to be of a different width too.

The figure 700bhp was mentioned regarding it's power output laugh

And we all know that the eBay option wasn't the wisest choice too. Sometimes just better going with a cracking offer from a serious buyer wink

eBay suited my needs exactly Clint. Maybe not what you would use, and it can sometimes be trouble. But I sold my car a a good price in a short period of time when home. The buyer who got it in the end was an italian car fanatic, previously into GTV's ..... so a serious buyer and he got a serious car

Anyway, that's the difference between someone really knowing the market and someone assuming they know the market. Some people will always make and others will lose on the sale of a car wink

Didn't see your original reply for some reason, Patch. But I think yes, with a hat and wife and toddler.

Yes, that was the guy. Never bought it anyway but he seemed to very keen to buy. Having the wife around when talking about buying cars, that will 'most likely' become an occasional use machine, is never a good move laugh
