@MM no it's at Ocean Terminal (a shopping centre) in Leith, Edinburgh.
A Porsche owner came to speak to us about it yesterday at one of our big vehicle shows - she had noticed it parked up there over time gathering dust. She had very thoughtfully taken the pic then sought our coupe group out to pick our brains...
I wrote to the old owners of mine. I found the original receipt of sale in the handbook with the first owners details on, and an old sorn declaration in the paperwork which had the 2nd owners details on. I included a picture of the car along with what I was trying to achieve (provenance along with the 'story' of the car) Both replied and it filled in a few gaps in the history.
Doris the 1998 Portofino Blue 20V and Zoe the 1999 Alfa Romeo 916 Spider Bog standard needn't be boring...
A reccy yesterday proved fruitful - thanks to some help from the original lead who works in the offices opposite we found the sprinty (which does look tidy under the dust and whose bonnet has been, er, cleaned).
An hour later after chatting with a couple of uniformed gentlemen we had traced the owner (not his exact location) and learned that he was fine - just not in Edinburgh
The reason the sprinty hasn't attracted security is that it's a "free" car park - not a public highway and too expensive/risky to tow away!
