Just passed on the info to the chap who sold it to the owner - he's very surprised as the owner loved that coop...
Ricky forgive my memory, was it you who had the sprinty with the black roof?
No, that wasn’t me...I had a pretty standard red one, the only thing I did to it was to replace the black fabric seats with red leather seats from a similar one (would have been mainly spotted down Easter Road/Leith way). Was not in the best nick when I eventually parted company with it...the guy I did sell it to hoped to return it to its former glory...but not sure if he managed to.
I live on a sleepy street, and low and behold a lovely lady approached me concerning my Coupe she clocked in my garage while working on the daily hack. What transpires is that there is another Red Coupe on my street, barely a few houses away tucked up in a nice garage built for the Coupe. What lies within is a beautiful 2.0 16v NA with immaculate red original paint with low miles. The owner is not a member, but will be hopefully soon. What are the chances of two coupes living in the same street these days..?

Chances are almost nil you would think - you could hold your own mini-meets without turning a wheel!
It would be great to see some pics...
Hi Simon.
Did not take any pics, thought it would be too upfront. The owner uses the same specialist as I do in Greenock. He has had it for over 10 years. Recall it being a N plate. Interior was black leather. It’s being recommissioned at present, though not much to do from what I can see.
We have to watch out for our son Simon who as you know is very susceptible to the likes of whats going on at the moment. Our lovely daughter & soninlaw does all our shopping & we do order a lot of stuff online these days....
This maybe the coupé Ive been spotting in Aberdeenshire every now and then and the one I spotted in a known branch of tyre and exhaust fitters which I left my contact details with to get in touch... Sadly never did
Was on route back from decent run out on my Ducati on Sunday afternoon...passed a nice looking "T reg" broom yellow coupe between the two roundabouts on the A95 parallel with the river Spey on the edge of Granton on Spey.
Yesterday I was approached by one of my neighbours who have lived on out street for many years. He advised me there is a Fiat Coupe been parked up near Ardrossan harbour, after seeing mine on the roadside after its MOT test.
So this morning went out on a scouting mission to find this Coupe. I have found it while driving by. It’s been parked up in a private car parking space for what it seems a very long time.
It’s a speed red colour, but most panels are red or pink white. Checking it’s last MOT was done in 2007. It can be viewed on google street view, ( Mariners Way, Ardrossan, Ayrshire) but that alone must be up to 10 years ago on street view. Reg is T741 RWU

Passed by a Broom Yellow Coupe (think last 3 letters of reg were WFC) on the outskirts of Kirkconnel in Dumfriesshire this morning. I was driving a blue Freelander at the time and gave the driver a wave.
