would some kind soul please explain the differences(to a non mechanical person) between intercoolers,chargecoolers,side-mount front mount etc. I want the all-year cool running feel.
I have noticed a couple for sale on the forum too.

1. Intercoolers use air to cool the charge, whereas chargecoolers use water

2. Side (or Wing) Mount generally means the position taken up by the standard I/C (nearside front wing, in front of the wheel). Front Mount means across the front of the car like this!

If you are interested in getting your charge temparatures down (and why wouldn't you be ) then an uprated I/C or the addition of a charge cooler is the obvious way to go. I wouldn't like to say which is best, but generally well designed FMICs are seen as the preferred option. There is currently a well priced FMIC Group Buy going that you might find useful, and has had some good feedback .

Phil
