I've looked at searched but can't find the How-to to fix a sticking speedo.... anyone?

I need to share it with a customer, which will save me writing them a long email.

Is this by any chance the fault where the speedo suddenly decides you're driving at 58mph, irrespective of your actual speed?

If so, a sharp flick with the fingernail on the speedo front cover is usually effective. I suspect a poor solder joint, though it's also possibly one of those screws on the back of the speedo block loose. My next How To, if the weather behaves.
