Pete,

I am planning on being there but since I got an email from Beaulieu today postponing Simply Italian until 20/7/24 on the grounds that their 'grounds' may not be able to cope I fear this too may be cancelled, unless they have their own tractor to pull people out and an industrial strength jet-washer to clean up the cars!! If it happens it happens and I'll see you there.

There's a week and a bit for the water to drain Chris, so I'm optimistic.

A note has just gone up on FB cancelling the event tomorrow (6th April)

Hi All

We have done an inspection on the field this morning and even the top part which normally drains really well is water logged. The normal car park does not have the space for us to hold the event safely. This is the first time we have ever had to cancel the event, but the owner of the café has asked to cancel the event this month. We hope to see you in June with much sunnier weather!

Best wishes

That's a pity, but with the amount of rain we have had down here it's not too surprising. Bright sun here today too!

Dave and Pete,

We had a similar notice from AROC. Understandable but I was looking forward to it and seeing everyone again. Let's hope it cheers up for June!!
