Anyone know where I can get a set of the right keys to remove the standard Clarion head unit thanks.

Typing "clarion head removal keys" into eBay will get you things like this

IIRC it's this "type 2" that you need

I’m in the same process as you and lucky to have the original ‘keys’. They do look identical to those in the link provided.

I have the original "owners manual" for mine (CRX97RM/CRX87RM) and there is no mention of the removal keys and they were not with the car when it was imported from the UK many years ago.

Luckily, mine has had the tabs removed so that the unit is easy to remove from the cradle. Does not deter theft though.

I’d like to get a pair of keys for removing the original Clarion stereo but the eBay link in the thread above no longer works.

There appear to be two types but I don’t know which one is “type 2”. I’ve attached a picture, can anyone tell me if it’s the top or bottom ones I need please?
