Had no email back from ATP as yet still But i echo Jayells sentiments about them if they wish to take that kinda road as i am trying to source some adapters from elsewhere and if i can then ill provide info to each person who is interested in the turbo and the list of bits they will need for each one bar the adapter and then we can keep their income to as low a price as possible. and may see about other bits from a UK supplier as well by buying them in bulk...

No probs Peeps Im getting a bit frustrated myself at the minute(no change there!) so want to get it moving and if they are just being idle then i guess we should maybe try and find another US source maybe for similar prices??

Maybe time to rope SimonJ into it and see if there is a company he can give me info for another company.

Ok people.

So far we can now get the kit from the states bar the adapter flange and source a UK flange for £50 posted to your house. This is a bit of a mish mash but i can safely say the flange will be equal if not better than the ATP one and for £50 its less than half of what TD want and to your door as well. This could come down if we get more than 10 people after them, and i may buy a few for overseas people to make life easier if people want to go for this option ill post up the part list you need for each turbo and what we are doing re the flange?? Please let me know ASAP.
I wont be online at all tomorrow by the looks of it due to a long day ahead on the road starting at 5am so cant guarantee any response tomorrow but i need interest posted up asap!!

not with out all the adaptor flanges that KP list earlier in the the thread, the adaptors from Turbo Dynamics cost over £300, so your really still talking £875

But it's the said adaptor flange that KP has sourced for £50.
Apex are well renowned in their field (200sx's), it might be worth talking to them.

Will, without having trawled through all the info in this thread...

Are you organising a group buy? What's the cost and what turbos are available?

cheers

Right, I've decided that running a 2-stroke 20VT (1 litre of oil every time I fill the petrol tank ) is not the way forward, so this morning have ordered :

GRT-TBO-002 Garrett GT2560R (aka GT28R)
ATP-FLA-012 Aluminum - Inlet Flange GT25/28/28RS
ATP-FLA-011 Aluminum - GT28R/GT25R/T25 Compressor Outlet Adapter
ATP-FLA-010 Aluminum - Oil Drain Flange (GT/T25)
ATP-FTG-015 Fitting, 45 deg, 1/2" NPT male to 5/8" single slip on barb

.....and will report back on the ease of fitting, etc. I'll need to get a downpipe made to suit the outlet flange but that was on the cards anyway.

One thing that never really seemed to get answered is - is the wastegate actuator that comes with the turbo going to be OK ? I've heard mixed answers and am still not clear.

edit - apologies if dropping out of the Group Buy causes any problems, but ATP seem to be in slow motion re. the Buy, and my car needs sorting

its the oil feed pipe for the turbo.. I think you can try and reuse the standard one but i think its worth the effort while your replacing things down there anyway i think the part listing from ATP is on the list a few pages back...

In fact as I seem to be in a bit of a stingy mood at the moment, can you put me down for one of the downpipe adaptors so I won't have to get a new downpipe made up ? How long will it be before these are available ?
