I changed my front dampers and springs for new OE gear about 12K miles ago, now my rears are starting to show their age. The common wisdom on here for mainly fast road use with decent ride quality seems to be the Blistein/Eibach combo, however, a set of easily adjustable dampers (maybe Leda) might also do the job for me. My question is, if I upgrade the rears first will the results be horrible? Say I went for Leda/new OE springs on the back first, would the result be an unbalanced mess until I sorted the fronts out.

I need decent ride quality mon-fri, as I travel on some bone crunching roads to work as well as the ability to make the most of my performance mods .. but the coop won't see much track use.

Not sure what I'm going to do with the fronts yet, would like to lower it a little ... but I'm in no rush!

I'll answer my own post The answer is fairly obvious, I spoke with Leda and they reckon as long as I'm not lowering by too much there shouldn't be a problem doing the rears first! I guess the next question is how much is too much
