Err okay I'll let you off I am a tad confused as there is no bayonet on these, surely not a direct replacement?

I dont see a resistor in the pictures to allow them to work at 12v. Just an observation.
Let us know how you get on.

I'm chillin' Am I sounding like an old woman? That's worrying... there I go again worrying!! Silly thing is in my job I do a lot of auto electrical work so asking a dumb question about the sidelights is rather embarrasing! I think it's time I actually started to pull my car apart and see what's what before asking silly questions! My heater fan packed up the other day too so an ideal time. Anyway, the HID's are superb and I can recommend the kit I purchased to anyone.

I have a set and would hardly post a link otherwise As Jimbo says the Coupe has simple push fit sidelight bulbs.

here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...s_promot_widgetH1 is what you want. I can vouch that they are brilliant and do not blow the headlight motors. Quality of the cables and connectors are OEM standard just like Fiat. You just need to mount the ballasts on the underside of the headlight units which is slightly different to what others have done with the Group Buy HID's.

Gratuitous HID pic!
You see? They are worth it for the look alone, just need those LED sidelight bulbs now.
You will get serious lighting power, just like a new car and if you live out in the sticks like me, will find night driving much easier.

Hmmm, that's strange. Are you making sure that the locating pins are aligned?

Well, it only seemed to go in one way, but didn't seem very secure at all
I'll try again tomorrow, Im guessing they should go on as well as the original bulbs?
Ex 20VT - now something far more sensible'ish...

Well just been out again, it would appear that the LED I have is too large for the hole! Some pics to explain: Overall Length LED won't fit in hole! And to make matters worse, when I put the original bulb back in it didn't work so I went to get the bulb out again and now the whole white unit won't come out at all. I've tried twisting it to unlock it but its not budging... Think I need a beer!
