Anonymous Unregistered A	I've heard that Essex police have just taken delivery of a bunch of un-marked Mitsi Evo 8's - so watch out round the Southend/Basildon & A127 areas. Apparently they have camera vans in layby's on the A127 as well (i've seen them a few times) If your speeding, they then radio the Evo up ahead - which pulls you !

Anonymous Unregistered A	Cheers Craig - have seen these on the A12 and A127 - they have camera vans in laybys with both marked and unmarked cars and bikes on the slip roads ahead of you - some evos marked 'intercept' etc... It all seems very heavy handed - have also seen red evos on these roads incl A130 which are police cars - numerous beemers, skodas and audis! Use them all daily and you are better off not speeding - they are around constantly.

Iv'e only had my car 3 or so weeks and since then, I have been clocked (as in stared at) by too many Police. Jesus, anyone would think I'm a boy racer! All my previous cars, not a problem. I have to say that since getting the coop, I feel uncomfortable every time I pass a Police car. And no, it's not because I have done anything wrong.

I ride a Honda Fireblade as well so compared to that the Coupe is more or less ignored. I have had Police cars passing in the opposite direction u-turn and then follow me for miles. The A120 to Stansted has a lot of marked and unmarked police cars. John

Anonymous Unregistered A	I got followed and stopped in mine - hadnt done anything wrong, it was early hours (on the way home from the casino) - he chose to flash his blues when we approached a 24hr garage - pulled in, rather frustrated by it all and very aware of the wad I had hidden under the seat (blackjacks a great game ) - we spent 20mins looking at the car and discussing it etc... He was only interested to ask about it, what they were like to drive etc... He had always liked them but was never sure about the lines etc... how cool was that! His partner just sat in their patrol car, shaking his head. Ha ha - they arent all bad.

Anonymous Unregistered A	I got pulled for pretty much no reason by the airport police. convo went like this: Cop: have you been drinking? me: no, your welcome to breahalise me cop: its ok, I'll just smell in your car me: er ok He then went and stuck his head in the car, came back and said no need to check me. Er right! Maybe he wanted to see the interior! We got pulled in Hursty's evo in Norwich, even tho we were doing the same stuff as the rest of our convoy (alot of beeping horns), yet they drive a Golf and Ibiza so it was us that got the full attention of the police.

Anonymous Unregistered A	Like speeding motorists is the prime concern for police in Essex!? They ought to sort out the Fortune of War "roundabout" on the A127 for starters. That seems to cause a major accident about every 2 weeks?! Dave

Anonymous Unregistered A	@jayzee... i bet you they are only looking because they love the coupe i have never had any issues with the polce with the coupe, compared to my previous "hot hatchs" this ownership has been struggle free, i have even have cop cars drive past with them staring at my wheels and not me... made me smile Cheers for the heads up on the evos, no doubt i would have tried my luck with one otherwise... also look out for white fords saff cosworth around chelmsford which WILL try and make you play, its also undercover!! although havent seen it agin recently, hopeful its dead! as i am back in coventry now i think i could do anything, cops up here dont seem to care at all.
