Hi boys and girls,

I've been away from the forum (and coop ownership) for quite a while now. I wasn't a mega-frequent poster back in '03-'04 so not sure if anyone will remember me but I used to have an Ink Black 20VT which met a very sad end on the M6 one dark Friday night.

It was a really big smash which my girlfriend and I were pretty lucky to walk away from. Won't go into too many details except to say that some idiot in a motorhome travelling somewhere ahead of us managed to keep his shed in such poor condition that one of his wheels came off and came to rest in the middle lane of the motorway and, being a dark object in a dark road on a dark night, I didn't see it until it was too late! It got wedged under the front of the car causing us to skid across into the hard shoulder, bounce off the verge, back across all three lanes and end up smashed into the central reservation! Not much fun.

Needless to say the coop was a write off. That was in Jan '05. And a few weeks ago, after looking at so many different motors for such a long time (we have a VW Lupo sport for day to day duties) I decided to take the plunge and embrace coop ownership once more

And what better way than to buy the dark red metallic plus that Munchkin had for sale! It's a beauty. Piccies of the smashed ink black and my new baby will be forthcoming. It's good to be back!

Glad you are back.

It's difficult to stay away don't you think?

Can't wait to see the pictures of your new motor.

Cheers guys! I'll get some pics up ASAP.

Just had permagard treatment applied to the new one and she is looking fantastic! Well chuffed with the result.

Looking forward to taking her down to Le Mans this summer!

Always good to see old members who can't get rid of the coop itch.

New car looks

cheers guys!

Yeah, was Muchkins dads. Not seen one in such good condition for a long long time. I just need to keep it that way! Now all I need to do is find a house / flat with a garage so I can tuck her up at night

GraemeC...where in Manc you based? Not seen a sprint blue around the place

Live in West Didsbury, but travel to Chester every day at the moment

You wouldnt see the coop unless walking past as its parked off the road at the back of my flat (keeps it away from the kids )

Where are you? There are a couple of people from Manc on the form (Manc mini-meet?? )

Where 'bouts?? I'm on Cavendish road, new (ish - 5 years) block of flats sort of diagonally opposite the Met

Looks like it'll be a mini-meet and a beer

I know the one...is it Chelsea House or something like that?...I'm in Aspen development, on Nell Lane, directly opposite Siemens. Mini-meet and a beer it is then!
