I've been away from the forum (and coop ownership) for quite a while now. I wasn't a mega-frequent poster back in '03-'04 so not sure if anyone will remember me
but I used to have an Ink Black 20VT which met a very sad end on the M6 one dark Friday night.
It was a really big smash which my girlfriend and I were pretty lucky to walk away from. Won't go into too many details except to say that some idiot in a motorhome travelling somewhere ahead of us managed to keep his shed in such poor condition that one of his wheels came off
and came to rest in the middle lane of the motorway and, being a dark object in a dark road on a dark night, I didn't see it until it was too late! It got wedged under the front of the car causing us to skid across into the hard shoulder, bounce off the verge, back across all three lanes and end up smashed into the central reservation! Not much fun.
Needless to say the coop was a write off. That was in Jan '05. And a few weeks ago, after looking at so many different motors for such a long time (we have a VW Lupo sport for day to day duties) I decided to take the plunge and embrace coop ownership once more
And what better way than to buy the dark red metallic plus that Munchkin had for sale! It's a beauty. Piccies of the smashed ink black and my new baby will be forthcoming. It's good to be back!
