Took my blue beast into work today. Mostly due to pressure from the petrolheads who wanted to look at it. One guy has a Porsche, another has an Alfa GTA and somebody else has an X19 etc. One of the Directors has a Brera but his head is too far up his bum to chat to plebs like us..
Lots of joking between the guys about 'old cars, old Fiats, electrics etc..' One of the girl hears the end of this chat and comes over and tells us severely that we should scrap our old slow/rusty/enviromentally dangerous deathtraps and buy something modern and quick..like her 1.25L Fiesta!
We took this a bit further and discovered her knowledge of Italian cars was limited to her ex boyfriends Punto.
Wimmen!

Porsche driver offered her a run in his car to show her the difference between her 'fast' Fiesta and a 'faster' car..
She turned bright pink and said she 'didn't trust his driving..' ie he's making a pass at her. Didn't faze the guy..
'Ok my wife will take you out in it..its her car and btw she's a circuit marshal down at Mondello in her spare time..'
Tappity tap of heels leaving the canteen at the trot...

Just embarash her, look thoughtfully and say 'how did you work that out - your car has far less power and wegiths the same amount??' - failing that Pinn's idea is best.
