Thats right - the missus is taking herself and my six month son and heir away for the weekend.... she thinks i will be doing the gardening... I KNOW I will be spending the wholoe damn time doing up my Coupe.

So whats on the agenda and is there anything else you could possibly recommend I do to enhance the creaminess of my motor. So far i have in mind

Cleansing of the inside - to include full leather treatment with soft creamy leather protector.

cleansing of the outside using all the McGuiars kit as recommended (by some!) on these very pages

de-varnishing the petrol cap as per the how to guide - was a great excuse to buy a dremmell!

Take off alloy wheels and treat to a thorough cleanup

fit new speakers in the back

go round and try and sort out all the rattles in the cabin.

spend at least two hours doing "the circuit" in Falkirk town centre showing off my motor amongst some of the nice and not so nice (chavtastic) motors on display there.

So any other suggestions? I really dont want to waste a minute standing around thinking of what to do next!

Answers on a postcard please!

You lucky fella!

Clean the engine?

Oh, and don't forget to cruise past the "CopperTop"!

Clean the engine bay with WD40
Polish the door shuts
Grease the hinges
Polish the glass
Clean the wiper blades.
Reset the door striker pins
Paint the rear calipers
Service the rear caliper handbrake levers
Tighten all the loose bolts in the cabin
Push back those pesky draught excluder strips that creep out of the side of the dash.

Ahh the perfect weekend.

I know, skip the cruise part, go out and get drunk.

Do a full shampoo of the carpets/mats also. Go for a blast if its dry.

I had a spider living in mine... Looked at me like it was his car Massive it was.

A whole host of helpful suggestions there gents!

i will certainly say hello to the coppertop - a nice bar with good grub if anyones in the area!

Consider the spiders evicted (although as squatters do they have rights?)

Shabba - any suggestions for products for shampooing carpets - or will VO5 do?

also have purchased shares in redbull and proplus so i can acheive all of the above - will post result!

Rgds

Noel
