It's probably based the on the 4WD Sedici chassis. Looks about the same length. Did you see the petrol cap on this concept
If it was squished down to Coupé high and tidyed up the front end (It's ugly) and cabin (Cheap), it might not look to bad The rear end/side has a good mini-Lambo look to it on pic 1

2.4 five cylider, 167 horsepower, sounds about right for the none-too-enthusiastic petrol they use out there. And yes, four wheel drive with an auto-lock differential (presumably the centre one).
To be honest, I see this being more of a pointer to the new Coupe...the way manufacturers are segmenting cars these days (and the way the Fiat group is being boxed up into each marque for different markets), I would imagine the closest to a new Coupe we will see from Fiat for a long time is a sportier/coupe cabriolet version of this new Stilo/Bravo model whilst Alfa are left to make the "affordable" sports cars.
