Has anyone heard of the above brakes ?

Just reading Leda's web site and they deal with the company Galfer .

They seem to offer a good selection of uprated brake parts for the Coupe at reasonable prices.

Im looking at the Extreme Kit
Complete Kit:

FDR brake pads with a performance compound
DFX brake rotors with aluminium bell
Super Dot 4 brake fluid
£584

Not too bad really.

I might call Leda and ask about the kit.

sounds good, but looks like you keep the brembos & they may be the same size, as it doesn't mention an adapter plate / bracket

worth investigating tho'

I would have been interested, but have just spunked a shed load on new brakes

only if the discs are mounted to flex like the AP? strapline system or other flexible bobbin/mounting mechanism. The caliper is the primary reason the discs warp.

I thought its the very substantial lump of cast iron that
causes the stock one-piece coupe front disk to warp.

the reasoning for the two piece is to allow for a very
large diameter disk , but not run into the warpage issues
with a single lump of cast iron.

the weight saving from the alloy bell is incidental.

any views ?

I`m guessing the discs are the same size as our standard ones as there is no mention of adaptors etc.,if that is so, would that really give that much of a gain ?,if they where similar to the Tarox rear upgrade we run, that would be good
and yes to echo Rog here..Galfer are huge in OEM stuff

Jimbo, you really need to look at the small print you have to add tax and deliverly mate.
Works out to £708, which to me sounds very expensive. Hispec can sort out a full 335 system with new calipers for about 1k
