What are peoples thoughts on these alloys, yes I know I change my mind like the wind changes direction when it comes to wheels.
They caught my eye when I was having a wheel alignment done, we offered them up to the car and I thought they looked pretty dam good

They will drill them in a 4 x 98mm so no wobble bolts but they will need a 3mm spacer.

Lenso Evo II

They look good in an 18" I think

I was looking at the Lensos, though not the same model. I was trying to get a definative answer whether they would drill 4x98, but no one could be sure.

Those look quite nice. I'm more of a fan of 5 spokes on the Coupe for some reason

Where did you see them?

It costs an extra £25 to get them drilled to the correct stud pattern but its worth it I think, I've never been a fan of wobble bolts.

They look nice, though the fact that the spokes dont go to the edge of the wheel will make them look smaller. I'd go for 17's as a minimum.

Coupe now sold!

I don't like them Jimbo, sorry. IMHO they just scream cheap, and the name Lenso just reminds me of Saxo's and Corsa's.

I'm in the NO camp as well Jimbo . Your car looks on the standard rims already.

Jimbo, I think they look great, when you say 'they will drill them' who is 'they' ? Lenso or wheel supplier ? I am currently looking for gunmetal/titanium with mirror lip so am very interested in these. I've trawled the web looking but found no 4x98's yet and i've sent off a few enquiries.
Are wobblies a wise move ?

I think it's the factory that drill them to your requirements.

They dont come from the factory drilled so I think they custom drill them, it takes them an extra couple of days for the order but mine should be here on Friday wearing some nice 215/35/18 toyo rubber.
I think the gun metal will go nicely on the LE's

Have a look at www.autopartuk.com thats where mine are coming from.

Jimbo, please let me know how you get on. Just a few q's. what offset and width do they come in and what size spacer do you think you will need.

I think the colour will look great on yours and my chrono grey, I feel like I'm honouring the LE titanium tradition by keeping the gunmetal colour !

Brian,
They are a 7.5 x 18 not sure of the offset or spacer, think he said a 3mm but they will supply them with the wheels, I said they had to be hub centic spacers and he said they were.
I'll let you know more info when I get the wheels but i think they should look good

Jimbo, are the hubcentrics spacers the ones you bolt to the hub and then the wheel to the spacers ? Are'nt they expensive. If these are the ones then you would not need the wheels drilled in 4X98 as the hubcentrics would adapt them to whatever ie 4X100 ?

Hubcentric just means they locate on the hub and they have the lip that the wheel locates to.
Your thinking of hub adaptors

after spending all that money on handling I can't believe you're looking at 7.5j alloys and no mention of weight
I think you should go for a ride in Markus' car with 265 profile rear tyres - that'll soon change your mind!!

265 profile and they fit without rubbing ?

The wider you go the more the car will tramline and wander, I didnt even like the 225's to be honest so 215 will be ok for using on the road.

I run 245/35R18s absolutely no tramlining, wandering or rubbing. Not sure why you have some ??

Markus' do rub but I think he has sussed how to overcome that. He only has 265s on the rear. I think the fronts are 225s.

John

Not sure John, it was probably the old shagged wishbones, these new poly bushed ones would probably be ok, it used to torque steer quite a lot but thats cleared up now

Jimbo, yes I see the difference now, thanks,

JohnS, what are the spec of your alloys, PCD / ET / hubcentric.

I'm amazed 265's fit on the rears, I was running 255's on the rears of my 5 series and they were BIG, would not have thought they would even fit !

Not yet, I went through today but they need a bigger spacer to clear the caliper, I have a nice Lenso shaped chip in my left caliper now

Next week should have them fitted and pictures posted up

However for the few minutes they were bolted up, they looked
