personally im not a fan of how it looks but ive always been real funny with styling on the coupe <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Love the car mate. So glad that you dared "To Do Your Thing" (No not drink diet coke)!

Quality work. Took quite a bit of getting used to but yours is the 1st jap themed Coupe that I've liked.

Cheers mate! Yeah I see your not a coupe purist from your car. laugh . Tis good to be different from the rest of the crowd.

People keep talking about my car being jap look but i don't really see it. I have got lots of videos of high end tuned turbo'd M3's and M5's with bumpers chopped at the front to show their intercoolers.

Think its just more common for jap cars to do this as they are almost all forced induction.

Also many european tuners are putting black wheels on their cars these days. Check the pictures of a modified Porsche GT by Gamballa.

Looks cool mate!

I was going to do the same sort of thing to a standard bumper (kind of escort RS look), but that went out the window when it got attacked by a badger frown

What kind of rims do you have? They are lovely!

"Do not do this. I can say it will look totally crap.
Period."

Not sure about that Begbie, guess your too young laugh to recall this approach applied to some E-type Jags - cam look OK and it will retain the symmetry...

Ended up putting the plate in the middle of the bonnet, hiding the fiat badge. Tried many different places but none looked right. This kept the car symetrical and is a cheap way of debadging the bonnet.

Pics to follow..

On some cars, the number plate on the number plate on the bonnet looks fine, but unfortuantly, the coupe is one of those cars it doesn't work on frown
