I agree with you, I even got me the shiny new Fiatbadge at the back. No horse!
having said this, I'm sure I read somewhere about a certain Ferrari-Coupe-link.. that Ferrari was thinking of a cheap starter to boost overall sales, like the Porsche 924 was. That would be the late eithies, but Ferrari then pulled out and the Coupe became the Fiat it already was.
A rumour yes, but it could well be true..
Hence the blank bootlid for instance.. A silver horse does not look out of place there, I think, IF it WAS a Ferrari.
