* Me!
* My wife if I can persuade her to bring her car (she's getting all girly and saying she's embarrassed and scared, etc. etc.)

Hey Faz, how long have you had that car? I'm wondering if we've met before just after you bought it on another meet about 2 1/2 years ago??

That's the one! And there was a fender-bender which didn't involve us as we were right at the back. Will be nice to see you again. Hey - is it just me or does this meet look like a lot of driving and not so much looking at each other's cars and chatting? Just an observation.

Good to see you couldn't give up coupes! See you there

I guess it'll be more of a cruise, as it's quite a long trip for "spirited" driving. But I'm sure they'll be something to chat about afterwards!

Is there anybody coming from the Cambridge area? I am and my mate is tagging along with me in my car as he doesnt fancy bringing his Cougar!!

However...he is really into his photography so is hoping to bring his camera stuff and get some good piccies of the coupes...if others are happy of him to do that?

Naturally...I will be able to get some pictures up and also share them with others if requested?

Cheers,

Dan

Yes, us younger ones are confused too. We need meeting points for different regions and a main meeting point and time for a meal and some tyre-kicking. (And then a route for a blast \:D )

ok everybody
this thread has been running since the second week in febuary..so lets get organised

start point......11.00am ipswich a14/a12 junction.its also known as the.. toys are us/tescos junction, do to the fact there is a tescos and toys are us there.(are we all keeping up)
next to the tescos car park there is a burger king
if we all meet there we can get a drink or a nibble

hope this suits everyone...i thought its a good central starting point

set off down the a12 at about 12pm(past colchester)heading for the m25(approx 1hour)(could someone from essex surgest a good spot for lunch near the bottom of the a12...(calling faz))
around the m25 anti clock wise to the m11 up the m11to the a14..break on the a14 at a BP wild bean cafe(lubly latte)

back to ipswich about 4pm ish

any feed back would be great

Fary/Will/Neil - I'll be heading up to the start at Toy's R Us, only about 25mins from Braintree. That avoids trying to join others as they fly past on the A12 + I'm sure my clutch will appreciate it!

Re: Stopping at the end of the A12 for lunch - I don't know of anywhere and TBH I wouldn't bother. It won't take long to get there. AutoRoute only reckons the whole thing will take about 2hrs, prob not much over 1hr 30mins if there's no hold up's.

Note - Getting food on a Sunday lunchtime can be hard work, most places fill up or you need to book

Maybe a brief stop on the Layby at the end of the A12 if we've got split up? and again towards the end of the M11

11am at Toys Anus roundabout it is. Looking forward. So lunch at that place mentioned on the A14 then? 4pm is too late to wait for food - I'll pass out at the wheel.
