Anonymous Unregistered A	I know now that the 16vt are short to spare and the amount on the forum is tiny compared to the common as muck 20vt ( i like winding the 20vt boys up) After this weekend my coupe spec(enigne) will be the following; - de-cat 3" back - K&N induction kit - EVO chip (plugs also) - 3bar fpr - Tipo inlet cam So who has the most powerful 16vt then? i know begbie will prob do so but he's off the road at the mo (i think).so cant count i must or should be pushing 250bhp. what do you think? post what you've got then.

Anonymous Unregistered A	wightman youve almost got the same specs i had last year but i didng have the tipo inlet cam. at the moment im having full headwork done on my coupe and new intercooler and turbo (gt28rs .86ar) fitted. Begbie here will probably hold the fastest 16vt title here but im hoping to be close behind in second place

Anonymous Unregistered A	Mines 254bhp and 308lbft, but that was when i just got the blitz and did'nt quite know the correct set ups e.g. it was'nt turned up to best setting for the car and i've also picked up on a few thing that were faulty/ incorrectly fitted since, so it may now have a little more in it With the mods your doing expect around the 235/245 area, you'll need a good boost controller to keep the turbo spinning nicely and i would advise a good intercooler to keep the temps down

Anonymous Unregistered A	Trizza (Tristan) (think you've spoken to him recently Begbie re: boost hose popping off) - Has Trev's old 16VT - Evo FMIC, Hybrid, Evo chip, Ram air - RR'd at over 270bhp without the full (albeit catted) 3" Powerflow exhaust. It's bloody quick. Accleration-wise it feels a gear quicker than my standard 20VT.

Anonymous Unregistered A	was dynoed 204hp/304nm with a weird chip that ran too rich before the turbo kicked in and too lean while on boost. but after fitting an evo chip and a tubular manifold i did a 13.989s @ 169km/h 1/4mile run. according to g-tech pro 0-60mph is around 5.3-5.4secs. i guess anywhere from 240-260hp maybe !?

Anonymous Unregistered A	I know I haven't got the fastest (Evo chip, de-cat), but I just wanted to add that it flies, and is perfect on this set up, very smooth and so reliable! Just thought I'd add that as there aren't too many 16vt threads around these days - can't be that many 16vt's left on here, in fact they are probably the rarest of Coupes now??

Anonymous Unregistered A	jeezz, having troubles spelling country names right beggars Besides that, the 1.8's aren't that rare in Holland. I guess most people just wanted the good looks of the coupe, without spending extra for performance. Saying that, the 1.8 is in real life as fast as a 16v N/A.

I've got the blitz sbc id 3 and it's really easy to use blah blah blah i personally think it's the best for the money i paid for it off e-bay, and also have the pace fmic, needed a few mods to the intake system to fit it to the 16vt, but i do notice the boost is alot more definate on motorways, but without a boost controller i found that the performance was very poor around town, more lag and the boost pressure droped to around 0.8bar. Since i fitted the controller and replaced all the hose with silicone one's and fitted a straight intake pipe i have noticed alot off differance, the turbo comes in at around 3200rpm and holds 1.2bar up to around 5500rpm, i'm just to lazy to go and get it rr again but it does feel alot better than when i had it tested before.

Anonymous Unregistered A	I think the tipo cam has a higher/longer lift, to allow more flow in to the cylinder, more flow more power, but i havent personally tried one yet.

FCCUK me what a differance !!!! however i did drive it with just the tipo cam fitted and you can feel a better pull around 4000rpm to 5500rpm. very very happy about the performance as you'll see soon in the coupe vs area. what a race i had!

Anonymous Unregistered A	Maybe not on this forum, but it would be a little short sighted not to check what integrale owners/developers are doing. The 16vt was fitted to the integrale long before the Fiat Coupe even appeared on Mr Bangle's drawing board so the specialists will have have that much longer to work on them Different with the 20vt and that only really got fitted to the Coupe in any numbers, and that's where most Coupe engine development has been aimed
