Has anyone done this, have just fitted HID's with LED sidelights, the fogs just dont match anymore

Has anyone changed their bulbs to anything else?

Sorry to butt in, but what LED's did you get for the sidelights and where did you get them?

Also sorry for hijacking this thread!
Are 100w bulbs road legal? and does the heat that comes from
them do any damage to the plastic lenses?, i presume they run
hotter than 55w.
Cheers

They are not legal, however they won't melt your lenses but I'm not so sure I'd trust Italian electrics to cope.

There not legal but your front fogs have no requirements for mot, and if you get pulled over by the police and they do a light check there is no reason why they would need to see the fogs
The only prob would be if you use them all the time and get spotted with them on i guess it's a £30 fine

Hi

Just ploughing my way through the forum as I'm new, and came to this topic.

Forgive my ignorance, but what would be the point of putting LEDs in your foglights? Is the bulb visable through the lens or something.

If it is due to the colour then I just don't see the point. Unless you are one of these 'tards who drive around with your foglights on all day, then nobody is going to know what colour the bulbs are. And if you are in a real fog situation when you actually need to use the lights, who cares if they match your HIDs etc?!

Don't want to cause offense to anyone on here. But if you are someone who drives with your fogs on all the time then feel free to take all the offense available!

Have to agree with the above sentiments. If its a styling mod then the only people who are going to see them are those being blinded by them. Bit silly really don't you think?

to be honest i dont think its because they drive around with their fogs on, persoanlly i want them for my full beam because when i do use full beam the yellow light from the standard bulbs just doesnt look right.
