Has anyone fitted a motorised screen such as AVH P7500DVD or 925DVD on a coop with modification in the centre console so that it will not be too low for viewing? Please post photos if you have any!

I now have a Alpine IVA-D310 mounted in the standard radio position. I've had to bring the radio out to be flush with the dash rather then inset 3cm. This works well but I've still to make up a fiberglass surround as the cage is currently held in place with cardboard. The screen opens out without hitting the gear lever no matter what gear you're in. It's also within easy reach of your fingers when resting your hand on the gear lever.
The player itself is excellent although it lacks the flashy graphics and user interface of the Pioneer range. When the screen is stored the front display is very simple, no brand name and only buttons to tilt up/down, source, eject and a rotary volume control. You almost don't need to remove the face plate. Stealing the head unit is useless anyway as the main brain is in a separate unit which I've fitted behind the rear seat side panels. Although thieves don't know that.
