There are lots of these for sale on ebay - ultra bright/led/etc

has anyone fitted them and seen good results?

I've spent on hour on each light cluster today getting all of the scratches off with intensive polishing so I may as well show them off now!

I got some LED ones from ebay.

Look pretty smart. I'll add a pic later.

btw: they are awesome.. if you have HID, then they look the biz

Much more bluer and crisper then the old yellow ones

OK Here they are you coops

Pic1 - Philips Blue Sidelights (standard non-LED)

Pic2 - LED on the Left with Philips sidelight on the right

Pic3 - Both sidelights uprated to LED

Pic4 - HID (Xenon) with the new LED Sidelight

In Pic3 the left LED was showing a little too blue, so I got this changed to matching ones from the nice Ebay seller.

LEDs should outlast your car and provide better brightness.

I have also uprated the internal console light with LED and you get a much more
of a blue look..

What you guys think?

OK chaps.. these are the details .. but

Unfortunately the chap from ebay seems no longer to be trading, under that name anyway. I never had any probs with him and he had a huge rating.

He even sorted out the more bluer LED saying that it must have been from a different batch..

However you can try to email him (digged this out from my inbox),

Email : andy@renusz.fsnet.co.uk

Ebay ID : led_auto_design

His ad. normally has the folloing line

"XENON LED SIDELIGHT 501 FIAT TURBO BRAVO BRAVA COUPE"

cheers

Nazo

No, you dont need HID headlights to run LED sidelights.

As posted by Matt.. and also note that they are a direct part replacement. Take the old ones out and bin 'em. Fit the new ones and never look back

You just have to watch come MOT time, if you have a particularly over zelous inspector they'll fail your car because your sidelights aren't white.

I used to have LED's in there, but I didn't like the 'blue' look, so I changed them for some that I got free with some new headlight bulbs (for the life of me I can't remember where I got them), these are just as bright as the LED ones, but they are white. Doubt they will last as long though.

Your local Motorworld will sell them, they are made by the company called Savage. They stock a few different types.

I got a pair of Philips ones when I bought indicator bulbs. And I did fit them. The bulbs themselves was blue, but when lit and mounted it just looks white. Not sure it is worth the hassle if not doing fog and/or indicators at the same time, since the difference isn't major.
