Just had my MOT done (passed) and realised that I've only done 4800miles in the last year (basically since the engine rebuild).

The car itself ('98 S plate) has now done 73k and thats more or less 30k since I bought her 3 years ago... (including almost a full year off the road lol)

I've done about 56k in 50 months of owning two Coops. Have moved closer to work lately but still expect to average about 15k a year.

None in the past year, since the MOT, (trailered to here) but hopefully bang several thousand miles per annum on her once she's finished \:D

105000 miles on it now though

Never thought I'd have a car with a hundred thou on the clock \:D

I think I've done about 13-14k in the first year I've owned it, and 20k (now 87K) since I bought mine in Sept '05.
I have a van for all the short trips and general driving, the coupé is for the weekend or long trips \:D

Got the car a year ago and have clocked up an extra 10k - now standing at 85K. Previous club owner only put on 5K in 2 years \:o Coop paying the price for it now with exhaust falling off in January along with caliper probs, new front wishbones last week and now failing wheel bearings :(.

Still - get business miles - far better than a hire car \:\)

For the past 2 years, about 6000 per year. But that's because I live so close to work.

Mine does surprisingly little miles as I only live about 7 miles from my work. I try and stretch its legs every couple of weeks but still only do maybe 6K max in a year.

Apart from the odd 1200 round mile trip to weddings ;\)

130k in eleven years - you do the maths. It's off on a 3,000 mile trip through france and germany in a couple of weeks, too \:\)

Probably about 10k a year. It would be more if I didn't spend half the summer offshore and if I didn't keep taking it to bits and breaking it all the damned time.

30,000+ a year \:o

Fuel bill runs at about £18 - £20 a day for my everyday commute, unless I turn the boost right off, in which case I can get it down to £14 - 15 per day.

However, I have regular business trips - this month (starting from the Midlands) I'll do London three or four times, Southampton once, Blackburn once, Newcastle (on tyne) once, plus all my private mileage on top of that.

May will probably be a heavy month - getting on for 4,000 miles

A chap I work with drives 240 miles every day, thats over 50k a year. He doesn't have a coop, but just though i'd say. His fortnightly mileage is similar to my yearly \:D

Mine had 53K when I bought it almost 2 years ago it now has 69K. Still going strong luckily I have a 2omile round trip as I seem to take her for a burn every other evening as I love driving her.

Just got 325miles to a full tank, this is the first time I have ever got over 300+ miles from a tank!!!! Must be the new thermostat and the higher air temps?!

Bought the car (1994 LHD 16V Turbo Plus) in 1998 with 28k km on it. I have to say that I didn't quite believe the mileage (kilometerage?) when I bought it because it appeared to have done no miles between its last TUV test and sale.

I used to trash it between Germany and the UK at weekends, and leave it standing for weeks at a time - it let me down just the once when its cambelt let go. My fault - it was overdue. £2k engine rebuild later... the only engine fault it has had was a crank position sensor (£140 fitted, Walkers Garage the Lancia folks).

Now has about 80k (km so about 50k miles) in total including nothing for the last two years while it lived in a garage collecting dust and about 50km the year before that while it was in the tender loving hands of some car thieves in Richmond who seem to have bottled out of driving it after a week. After that long stand it needed a new fuel pump relay and then it fired right up. God knows why the fuel pump relay died while it was standing, but it did!

I'm now getting very excited because it is getting a whole stack of new bits and a fresh new MOT this week and should be coming back on the road for a new lease of life!

Low mileage syndrome is a bitch. Everything drops off the body and suspension at the same rate, but you don't get any fun out of it between garage trips!
