sorry to hear that mate, hope you recover soon.
A word of advice, get down your memory of the whole incident on paper or in a word document as you may need it in future. Also, log your injuries and take pictures (of your injuries). May help your future claim against the muppet that crashed into you.
Sideways a LOT

Really sorry to hear that, but do as S1MMA said, as although the otehr drive might be co-operating now you never know whether he will change his mind or not

LOL @ JimO Gutted to here about your car Andrew , thats now my biggest fear. After spending thousands last year putting mine right, (new engine, turbo etc), I'd be devestated if some muppet crashed into me and wrote it off.

What a bummer Andrew, hope you get sorted out quickly with the money. At least you weren't hurt too badly which is the main thing, (other than the severe whiplash, obviously).
Will you be looking for another coupe when the money comes through?

Thats a right ball pain that matey and ive been there as well Not in the coop thankfully! As above get everything down asap really and if its worth it and you have somewhere to break the car getting it as part of the settlement and dont take any poo offers, usually 2 or 3 offers rejected before you get a proper one some people have said Hope the injuries heal well and dont forget to claim intereste for being out of pocket all taxi reciepts and bus tickets and all while your out of transport as well to claim back

Sorry to hear about the Coop. Demand at least *triple* whatever the insurance company offer you on the grounds that you have proof that yours actually had a working airbag, which makes it damn near irreplaceable
Dear monos, a secret truth.

Yo Andy Hope you pull through it psychologically, as it stays longer that the physical injuries endured. Make sure you put a seperate claim thorugh those car accident people like Claims Direct. The payment might take a long time ~1-2 years but may be in the thousands.. Get your neck checked for whiplash also. Wishing you a speedy recovery

Sorry to hear about thaT - A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE Like everyone else has said - document everything, photograph everything, keep receipts and do not assume that the guy who wrote you off will always be cooperative as his Insurance company will not encourage him to do this. I speak from bitter experience. Get hospital back up for your injuries and keep an eye on the psychological side - You have suffered a trauma Good luck

Rubbish news, sorry On the injury front, get checked out by the hospital so everything is documents ...assuming you have legal cover on your insurance, the company should cover any legal fees associated with any PI claim you may wish to make In terms of insurance pay out for the car, make sure you turn down any initial offer they make (unless you think it is actually above what you were expecting I guess)

Another Coop of to car heaven. Sorry to here about that but at least you walked away. No matter what happens to the car this is the most important thing. When I crashed my first car I didn't think that as I was so gutted. However now looking back I was so lucky and for that Im greatful.
