This is the first meet we have been to so I have to admit, we did feel a little out of place at first. It was great to see so many coops tho! I counted 26 at the end, including one lady who just turned up because her husband drove past and told her that there was a load of coupe's at the pub. She drove down to see what it was all about. She had never heard of the club before so we spread the word

We left earlier than expected cos of the rain and things to do at home but it was good to put a face to at least a couple of names.

Good venue and good food too. Kept the kids quiet for half an hour anyway Well done for organising it.

p.s. saw some good FCCUK stickers in some cars but can't find a link to buy them anywhere. Any idea's?

As the Man said above BIG thanks must go to Jim and Vicks for organising this meet. Great place and good food was just a pitty about the rain in the middle of the meet.

Would appear it was right to request that everyone were on their best behaviour too. There were quite a few police persons on patroll today, even popping into the car park early on.

Oh and who was Debs

If you're asking about me and Ken, well Ken was just egging me on, going faster and faster and I had to keep up with him to let him know about the steam procession following him

Still when we were both tearing up the slip road to the A217, we decided to slow down as we were both about to pass a police car at least 71 mph

And I think the alfa showed up for whats it should be doing, a tad slower than Kenno, but we still held our ground....

Great meet and many thanks to Vicks and JimO for sorting. Great turn out too shame about the weather but at least it was dry at times. Shame I had to dash to go an collect my daughter from her DofE Expedition, she was 3hrs late so I could have stayed longer

As a Coupe newbee I didn't really know what to expect, but it was a great day, great venue and a great buunch of people. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and look forward to the next one.

Sorry to drop in and run off again. I was looking forward to catching up with you all. But thanks to some stupid road block I got to take one hell of a long detour though the kent country lanes which has it's good and bad points parked next to a lovely Elec. blue plus (brought back fond memories )
