Well I really enjoyed last years which was my first time and generally hung around the top three occupying all those positions for some time ultimately ending 3rd I believe.

So it all kicks off again this year on the 11th Aug so we have to have this organised by then. As I am not an FCCUK member anymore I though I would offer someone the chance to take the lead here and set up a league we can join again.

Normally in fantasy football leagues (not done one for about 5 years!) I really struggled with the player values and getting what I thought was a decent team together within the alloted budget. this time however my I was under the budget on the first attempt, which is a little worrying!

you can change it. go to "my team" then click on the arrows above the the player names to sub in/out. so if you're at 4-4-2 now and you sub out a defender for a midfielder, it will change to 3-5-2 etc.

Probably as he was captain - lots of my co-workers (who I am in a separate league with) scored 42 points as he was their captain.

Is it too late (or is there a point) to me joining the fccuk league now then?!

Not a bad score mate as you started 6 weeks after most other people.

A captains score is doubled, that includes a negative score.

I think you have worked it out by now but captains get double points. So thats why Ronaldo go 42 as a lot of people have him as captain including myself. So really its hard to do well because everyone gets the same points.

Hope you guys are well, noticed a few more selling up. Did a quick scooby search to see if he was still about, didnt reveal too much.

Just made 20th spot my own for the 2nd time this season! Had a good week - I think I was top scorer. Would be very happy to stay 20th now - or maybe go higher. Got to 6th in my other league now. I must say, I really enjoyed it this season - I'm looking forward to the next season already!!

So I made a gamble and the booboo. I made Adebayor my Captain and not Ronny. So I got 4 instead of 32 or in other words 14 less points than I would have if I stuck with Ronnie as Captain. That would have cut the lead to just 20 points and a lucky last game might have swung it. Now I think the gap is too big at 34 points, needs a hatrick of a non popular player as a captain to stand a chance. Perhaps one of the none presure players could do it in a last game exibition match. hmmmm

Maybe there should be a small pot for next year to give out to 1st 2nd 3rd - 60% 30% 10% and everyone who joins in donates a few quid. That will keep everyone interested :)Just an idea, I will be there anyway as it adds to my season interests.

Hope we get the same interest again next season. I think if Ronaldo moved to Spain or whereever it would make the league more open but I dont think it will happen anytime soon.
