The coupe certainly doesn't look good from all angles, but that's due to using quite a few different styles in 1 package. Does make it unique though. I can't helpt to think that the coupe was designed from a driving point of view. I mean it seems to look at it's best when you're driving a car and see one in front of you or in the rearview mirror, the lines just come out really well. That's why it's so great to drive them in convoy style

One of the reasons i got my coop was the looks,i think they look great, and you dont see yourself driving the other way every 30 seconds,i have owned my coop for around 2 months and have only seen another 1 while out driving. I see atleast a dozen scoobys a week,i quite like them actually, i prefer the older models, and if i had to i would probably buy a turbo wagon so i could fit the kids and stuff in easily, but saying that i havent had any probs getting them in the coop. The only thing i dont really get about the coop are the sidelights the way they sit beneath the headlights looks a bit strange, would look good without the sidelights, shame you cant get them in a single unit with the headlights, then just have a nice long grill, but thats just me i guess some people love the way the sidelights and grill look.

To be honest - I looked at Scoobs and Evos before buying my coup, but going to something like TOTB, where I walked past 423,234 Evo's all lined up next to each other It made me think I was glad I have something a bit different

Hold on guys, comparing the comments it's us who seem to be the ones who are blinkered? In general the comments they have made have been pretty fair as one make forums go IMO. Well done Dave, couldn't agree with you more I thought the majority of the posts on the Scoobynet thread were positive, unfortunately there are posters on there, like on here who are complete kn@bs On here, we have them too - Scooby homos. There car looks cr*p from ALL angles. This is bugging me, what dunces trying to say the coupe is ugly. It is marmite but fo me girls love it, period. And yes, I drive a Scooby

And yes, I drive a Scooby You have my condolences Actually, it's only the saloon Imprezas I think are horrid, the SW versions look ok and the other models, like the Forester, kind of do what they say on the tin. My dad has a Forester 2.0 auto turbo and it's a poky beast if rather thirsty

To be fair there wasn't a single 'it's a FIAT it'll fall to pieces in front of your eyes' dig, so not too bad for a single owner forum.
I don't see how they can call Coops ugly mind - but like Suba I wasn't a great fan of the looks of a Coop when they first came out. Most of them seem to have missed the point that we like owning something a bit different. On Sunday when I saw a couple of Coops I'd not seen in the car park before it was a big deal, while Imprezas and Mitzis were all over the place.
Scoobs sound great though - and I'd find space in my fantasy garage for a 22B any day.

Do you really think the Coupe looks great from all angles though? Some it looks great, but at others it almost looks like a completely different car. The other week coming back from North Weald your coop looked very mean in my rear view mirror All hunkered down in a very purposeful stance, it not only looked good it looked fast They always look good from that angle! With the zender front they look even more agressive - but then so does an EVO.

Its a scooby forum, they are gonna prefer scoobies over coupes. Goodness knows why tho! Nah i didnt buy the coupe for looks (can you tell from the state of mines? ) but for the power. But im glad i did buy it as the looks have grown on me and as someone has already said, im glad i dont see one driving the other way every 2 secs. Ross

I have to say I love the two door impreza's (Just for you scooby). My brother inlaw has a P1 and is not able to drive it for the next two years so I am hoping he will ask me to look ater it!
They aren't the prettiest of looking cars but they do have a certain stance to them! Not sure what it is, they just do!

No one is going to say a scoob is prettier than a coupe! You're missing the point - sccobs look aggressive and meaty - they're not trying to compete on the looks front by being 'pretty' at all!

Pimmo's mock-up of the pink coop was genius! he's obviously a LOT more talented with Photoshop than I am (I can just about blot out the reg plate ) I thought their thread about the coupé was quite fair in places, certainly better than I thought it would be. Scoobynet isn't the friendliest forum it's fair to say, but then the car itself does have a major image problem. Still, I like (most) impreza's. I do despise early 93/94 imports with massive sunstrips, mahoosive gold wheels and a complete chav comandeering his chariot with trademark "cripple hook" hold of the wheel. A true Nova for the 25 and over's As an example there's a jap import garage down the road from me, and as I was on my way to work I clocked this horrible, gawdy Black mondeo pulling up with "V6" stickers and whaletale spoiler Out pop two big skinheads that looked rough as arseholes. I knew, I KNEW which car they were going to look at, yep it's the silver '94 WRX. "I want a scooby innit"
 Coopless!

The Impreza was never designed to be looked at, in theory if your driving down a rally stage at 80+mph the interior of the car should not be catching your attention Impreza's are purposeful tools for travelling very fast in certain conditions, the only problem is there are many tools with no purpose who fart around in them in built up areas thinking they have the fastest car in the world. You can't blame people from wanting different things from their cars, or i would shout expletives at every twit blocking the inside lane in their Yaris every time i go round the north circ.
