I have recently fit a 16v strut brace to my 20v turbo, all very well, no problems, but now there is a knocking coming from the front end-i have made sure all the bolts into the strut are tight and stuff, seems a bit odd. any ideas???
Cheers
Matt

Check that there are sufficient clearance between your brace and any other components in the engine. Sometimes if your brace is too close to something else it might knock each other ..only when your car is moving. Does it only happen when you are cornering?

How are your bushes and track rod ends?

I found when i fitted mine the lower arms and track rod ends didnt seem to last much longer. I expect it put extra strain on them.

Are you you sure it's not the fuses banging around ? the ones that you need to move when fitting a 16vt brace to a 20vt ?
They may not have been secured very well.

I've never adjusted the strut brace on the coop before, but the last time i had one fitted on the punto. The brace was under too much compression so was quite near the inlet manifold thus banging on it. Loosening it raised the brace up a lil and the knocking was gone. So..i don't know if it would apply to your coop..worth trying though \:\)
