I've got my 16vt up for sale

http://www.fiatcoupeclub.org/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=430394#Post430394

The price is more than most 16vt's, but i think this is a lot better than most 16vt's. I know that I haven't put it up for sale properly yet awaiting the MOT, but i thought i might still have had some interest. \:\(

Am i going to have to drop the price by quite a bit, or should i hold out? \:\?

Mark

Hold out.

Let them look at all the shite first and waste there own time, then they might start to understand why a few are dearer than the rest.

There's too much cheap crap and too much overpriced crap, just lots of crap and thats what governs the prices.

I carnt believe the shockers that are for sale, i had a good look at the for sale section on here, amazing how peoples wordings differ so far from even the pictures. Then the shockers on ebay and the trader are just woooooooo.

i think most people are so focused on getting a 20vt, that they totally dismiss the 16vt!

Nah not really, there is still a following for the 16vt, a red 16vt must be the rarest of them all.

Not many people appreciate proper ones thats the problem. Seems alot for what it is on the face, but not in the metal.

Like i say price wise you will be up against utter shite that looks as good on its pics and thats as far as it goes.

Just hold out, pointless having looooads of time wasters on it, just wait for one genuine person!

i like having 2 coops outside my house anyway \:\)

Not in a massive rush to sell it, just a bit of a waste for a nice car to be sat there.

have you seen my 16vt carl? i've been on a couple of meets when you have been there, but not talked to you? don't think it had the bumpers and skirts on at that point though!

Yeh ive seen it.

Hardly meet anyone at the meets, apparently i dont look like im supposed to, so know one guess's who i am.

Just hold out. I got £3200 for a 16v n/a not long back on the trader, just finding someone who wants a 16v still. At that price most of the coupe buyers are penny pinchers anyway and wont find a perfect 20vt. Im sure your's still puts most 20vt's to shame.

i know what you mean about the meets lol i normally talk to 2 new people when i go to a meet, then just have to guess who the other people are. and people always look different to what you expect. \:\)

but i do know what you look like, you flew past me on the m6 on the way to Forza last year when i was in a convoy. Your coop looks think you were with your brother?

Think i will hold out, just with no response in my for sale post i thought people would have been thinking it was a bit steep.

Cheers Carl \:\)

Stick to your guns then and don't drop the price. When I advertise mine soon it'll be for good money cos there won't be a hurry to get shot of it.

nah carlt i was the first there, then taffy shortly after. you must have got 2 breakfasts \:D

roly when your plus goes up for sale i dont think it will be there for long, very nice coop! should get a lot for that! \:\) think we should all start raising coop prices, but then everybody will just go for the crap on the bay and trader that carl keeps talking about!

i think Doctorfrag should have put his up for sale for more, but I'm not complaining! \:D

Cheers mate - forgot you'd seen it at Ferrybridge! Hope you're right, it's getting to the point where I think I should cash in. Quite a few seem to be after Plusses at the mo, though they'll have to find a lot more than £5.5k to get mine.

There are always timewasters and chancers - fortunately we don't have to deal with em as much as Carl.

Good luck with the sale anyhow \:\)
