Just had a word with MABR, and he and i are up for a Mini Meet before Winter sets in.
So, i thought of meeting in Cheshire, sorting a nice route out with a nice pub for refreshments. All we need is a date and i will find a nice rendezvous to meet up. Personally, would prefer Sunday, but a Sat would be fine.
All ideas welcome.

Andy. \:\)

I'll definitely come if I can. It might be a week or two into November before my car is working again, so it depends on the date and my bank balance \:P

I'm not driving any more with the turbo howling and whistling.

How about this.

I need more coop pictures for my college project. So I thought lets have a Sunday Dinner run to the Cat and Fiddle near Buxton Cat and Fiddle Beautiful drive on some of the best roads around and pretty good food too (a la Sportsmans stylee) proper menu plus bar meals

Here's a link to the last coop meet there Highest Meet

Heres the twist.

If anyone is up for it I'll be coming in the Figaro with Mrs C2D driving. \:D
It's a convertible so we can lead the run at a sedate 40 leptons and I can take 'road pics' out the back of the Figaro. If we meet somewhere first I might get some motorway pics too - coops three abreast
Once at the Cat and Fiddle there is a most excellent straight road and I can get some panning pics if any of you want to do drive pasts like this only better as this was grab shot. Then maybe some detail shots in the car park.

Then you can all go and have dinner \:D

What you reckon, anyone up for that or should I start another thread \:\?

I grew up near buxton, great roads! \:# I would be up for it once my car is fixed.

How about getting some pictures of coops going up or down winnats pass in castleton?

Also, do you have a camcorder? I want to know what my coupe sounds like when I overtake people!

As Andy's already said, I'm up for this and it already looks like it's going to be another successful meet. \:\)

C2D's idea sounds spot on and after the fiasco of the last Lakes Meet where we were trying to keep up with peeps, this way we can all enjoy the scenary and I think Mrs MABR will appreciate the pace too. \:\)

Any day OK for me but Sunday preferred.

The later in november it is the better chance I have of making it. 4th is almost certainly a no, 11th very possible, 18th, almost certainly yes.

I can't do the 11th (stepson's birthday) but thankfully it's not a certainty for others either. \:\)

25th is ideal for me or the 18th if that works for everyone else.

What the! \:o

I spend a bit of time away from the forum and the thread goes beeserk. You lot just want me to freeze my whatsis off in a convertible \:\/ I was actually hoping for next sunday \:D

However the 18th Nov looks favourite. That will just about leave me enough time to thaw out and put my picture show together \:\)

So are we on for the 18th \:\?

Might even be a sales opportunity for anyone looking for the rarer 16VT - especially with the mods you've got on it! \:D

18th or 11th are both good for me \:D

Last meet there was excellent, but I'd like to see a coupe convoy up Winnetts pass - would be an excellent photograph!
