i was getting worried as we turned onto the Cat and Fiddle, as the vehicles coming down, had snow on them.
Snow and Turbo Coupes do not mix!!
As we got higher, the white clouds drew right in.
Was fun parking!!!
Meal was lovely, and i noticed the weather was changing and drawing in again for more severe sleet/snow, so bit the bullet and returned.
Great turn out.

Oh, and they can't be proper coupé drivers, all the coupés are parked in the bays, not at an angle across two or three, miles from the nearest cars!

Did you notice my sneaky one of the coppers who were eying us up for 15 mins. They were checking our regs out too!!!

Hi folks,

Sorry I wasn't around for the run. My luck's out at present with my job going west on friday I've really got to watch the pennies now. Added to the possible salting of the roads affecting the BlingMachine's chromies, it just wasn't on.
Thanks to everyone who did the run, I know Sump was really pleased at the turnout.

Yep - it was me! Worrying about my Coupe (as usual)..

Let me start by saying for the benefit of anyone else thinking of undertaking this trip..............

Buxton is in the opposite direction to Warrington

I have of course got pics, but I haven't had time to post them. You wouldn't believe what a luvverly evening I had

Got home from the meet, got warm, had tea, started to upload the pictures, when my daughters partner rings to tell her his car wouldn't start.

Sounded like a flat battery so I drive to liverpool, put the battery on charge bring him back to St helens to his mum's. I get warm again, watch i'm a celebrity then take him and my Daughter back home to Liverpool. I put the battery back on car but the live terminal wouldn't tighten up. Had a look at the terminal (by moonlight, and reflection off the driving rain and sleet) and it's full of corrosion, so I start to poke at it with a screwdriver only to find that the bolt has corroded right through!! Have to go back after work now to try and drill the bolt out and replace it. Bl@@dy cars

Anyway, that aside it was a great meet. Nice to meet everyone and we made a pretty cool convoy too, the coops looked great, and that pub was lovely and warm Will post pics up later tonight !

Not another flat battery!!

When we got back, the Mrs. car wouldn't start and had the same problem, so the jump-leads came into action.

So fancy that, a working Coop rescuing a broken down Peugeot.. there's a turn-up!!

Great to see so many Coupes again, the convoy was fantastic
