Oxford meet? #461172

Hi guys,

Going off the small discussion in Coupes Spotted - looks like we might have enough people for a meet! So this is a call to anyone in the Oxfordshire/Bucks and surrounding areas, see if we can get a good number of people together - any preferences on place and time?

My only stipulation is a good pub in the vicinity!

Fire away lads,

Adam

I'm only in Banbury, so i'd make it.
Venue, how about Weston-on-the-Green just off the A34 near Bicester ?
Theres a nice pub on the out-skirts of the village.

MK'er here. If I have my Coop with me I'll be up for somewhere and if not I'd probably be up for it anyway. Loads of pubs in MK with phat DC's and pubs with big carparks around...

Won't be able to make it myself (I no longer have a car, let alone a Coop!)...but just as a heads-up, there was a mini-meet a few years back at the White Hart in Wytham just outside of Oxford...nice big car park, interesting boozer and I believe it was chosen because the landlord is/was a Coop owner.

I will be up for this. Live just outside Oxford and work on the Scicence Park so anywhere in and around the area would be good.

Lets just hope for a nice dry day!

Haha no, I'm afraid not. Stupidly busy here (but not so busy I can't post!), not even going to the pub for lunch... \:\(

how about meeting one evening rather than weekend? I used to run a monthly meet and meal in SE and it worked quite well.

Yep I'm up for this too. I'd recommend the Trout @ Wolvercote, lush food and a nice venue, biggish car park too.

Looking good. My car is as unreliable as an unreliable thing, but I'll get it over there, even if it's still running on 4 cylinders...

Cool, I'm up for whenever really - depends on other peoples commitments.

I could be up for this, depending on dates. I work at Theale but live near Dicot so I can probably make an evening meet in the Oxford direction.

All the good pubs near me seem to have tiny car parks. \:\(

As Swinny said, the Wolvercote meet a couple of years ago had a good turnout, just up the road from the Trout as I recall.

I would be up for that, I went to a meet a few years ago at the pub in Wytham, nice place.

I shall pop back to see any progress on dates etc.

Cool, Wytham seems popular then. Anyone remember the pub's name?

What dates are you looking at guys ?

I'm sometimes in the UK for a few days so I might be able to come along, so long as I can bring the girly, I rarely get to see her anyway so she wouldn't be chuffed about me going out with the car and not her ;\)
