I used to live in Weybridge, we could go for a blast down past Fairoaks Airfield and find a pub in the very posh village of Chobham if anyone knows of a good one!

Great day, i was 7hp up on my PT graphs but they told me i was running lean right at the top end at 1.35 bar, not a biggy as i run 1.0 bar day today, but maybe its time for bigger injectors \:o

334.6 hp and 305 lb/ft

PT told me that i wasnt undefuelling btw, i was very specific at the time and said i didnt want to push the car to its max, so who knows whos right

Good talking to JohnS and Nobby in the pub as well \:D

Probably both???? The fact it showed more with it running leaner points to something.

akeme were you mapped for 1.35 bar at PT?

i was mapped for 1.3 bar, 1.1 at redline but at night i hit 1.4 & 1.2 at redline, rob said it would be fine as he over adjusts on fueling?

i do find it a bit strange they dont show fueling on the RR at PT

Well im not that hot on mapping, i just asked to map the car perfectly for 1.0 bar and to only achieve maximum power within tolerances which he said was at 1.35...

All gets abit confusing \:\(

your fueling should be fine then, i would ring rob & ask why it's running lean, i think i'll get mine checked soon

Big thanks to Mr Kenno for sorting this out! It was my first ever rolling road and I had butterflies in stomach when he did the first blast. I had the lowest reading of the day (226 bhp) but I’m running standard with a little help of a Gtec 1! \:\) Now the real question did start the real moding or?

Cheers guys for a great day, Mr C

Well i got back to sunny Oxfordshire in time to watch the footy. Yay!

The story of the day:
I was 3rd to run and managed a measily 267bhp running with a Barbz chip. Way to rich and too much advance apparently. Detting etc..

Swapped over to a GTEC HF and put it on the rollers again. Fuelling was much better, perhaps still a little rich still - AFR mid to high 10s from 3500 rpm to 6500 rpm. 1.25bar tailing off to about 1 bar redline and managed 297bhp @ 7000rpm. ~270lb/ft @ 5500 rpm

So although a little miffed that I managed less bhp than my last outing to powerstation (even with more mods), I'm now happier that the fuelling is better and there's some boost spare still and potentially 10/15bhp to be had. Ofcourse readings vary across dyno's, so it might have to be another visit to powerstation for another check \:D

Thanks for organising Kenno. Thanks to Suba for the chip (Paypal transfer on its way). JohnS, Akeme for a dinner chit chat. Good to see you all again, Lucky escape for Paddy \:o

Interesting to hear dudes.

Shame for you nobby.

1 bar redline is a tad low. 1.15-1.2 as you have the RSR yeah? Probably putting the boost up to around 1.35-1.4 midrange will lean out the mixture, but im sure john and leight have already told ya that! \:D

Firstly, thanks to Ken for organising the day .

So, how did I get on? Well I'm not entirely certain \:\? ! Headline figures were 301bhp and 279lb/ft at the flywheel (248/228 at the wheels), which is somewhat at odds with my figures from Perfect Touch a year ago when I had the Unichip mapped (320bhp/280lb/ft) \:\( . Spool up seems to be about 400rpm later as well .

It certainly seems that there is a difference between SRR and Perfect Touch, as Suba's results were similarly 'different' (but I'll let him tell you the detail ;\) ).

Overall, I'm not too disappointed, as the set up seems good with the fuelling not far off throughout the rev range. Charlie seemed quite happy with the car on the rollers, and ultimately it is still superb on the road \:\/ !

If it has, it's managed to maintain the correct fuelling, so I don't think that's the case ;\) . I'm putting it down to different rolling roads. As to which one is correct, I have no idea !

Maybe the advance has been reduced but the fuelling is still ok?

As for rolling road, what do SRR use?

They are different shapes tho. Which i think means its a different result IIRC. Maybe another RR at PT would be advised?
