we had some big meets here last year and it would be great to get another one going - I have cajoled 2 friends in the local press to cover the meet in the local papers again...

The route might be Kenilworth to Stratford Upon Avon - down the Fosse :D...Beautiful scenery - lovely driving roads and some cracking historical sights for pics...

Some dates might be...8/9th 15/16th

Last meet before Crimbo - and possibly the best excuse to let "Them" trot along shopping...

What are your thoughts?

Starting Point – Meet at “The Saxon Mill” (CV34 5YN) (www.saxonmill.co.uk)

• For a few pics – Paint stroking – Beer and Snacks if you want.
• I will bring copies of the Route Map and it’s all straight forward.
• The day will probably go from 12noon – 3 or 4 o’clock - although you're all big and ugly enough to know when its time to go home!


• The drive is circa 45 miles and timed at just over an hour without stops,

Leave and merge onto A46

Leave at 2nd junction – at roundabout take 4th exit onto A45

Next roundabout take the 2nd exit A423

Then hit the FOSSE ! B4455 – and follow the coupes!

The windmill is visible from the Fosse – and weather permitting – and if we can be bothered – we can stop of for some great pics…

At Halford (Town) we will head back on the A429

Arriving at the A46 – for a 2.5 mile blast up a nice DC

Then take exit for A4177 Birmingham Road toward Solihull – for 1.6 miles and hey presto – A Pub!

(Not counting the Jap import... .. seriously though - Crash's wagon sounds soooooooo sweet and meaty - and the spoiler is so subtle.. )

Could well be up for this, the Kenilworth meets are always great and it'd be good to meet up with the usual suspects again . Coupe in for service and MOT on 7th so it should be running nicely for this- will confirm nearer the time.

11:30 am / 12 noon at Kenilworth Castle

Running through to 3/4 O'clock ish - Unless you have a Jap import, in which case you can leave at any point you wish - As Crash is coming along in his mobile ironing board (Mitsi Evo 4 ii think ) he has advised that the going rate is £5 for a bag of shirts...

I will contact the local Newspaper and see if we can get some more press coverage/Professional Piccys !!

I should be able to make this , depending on traffic on the A1 etc as I'll be driving back from Newcastle-upon-Tyne

If I park in amongst the Coupes, I dont think the camera man would even notice I was in the shot.

Hi, i will hopefully be there (late night before as hatton is fighting ) I am about 50miles away from start point so will need to set off at 9:30 at the latest.
I wont be driving fast will be putting gtec2 in on Saturday and not getting it rr'ed till just after crimbo so only running 0.8bar
Also don't laugh at my car as its still not fully resprayed yet boot taking awhile.

Glad some of you are running theres in and taking it easy as i have just fitted my gtec2 and don't want to open her up until its been rolling roaded. If the others want to go for it we can have a little slow coupe convoy of our own hehe

looks like a good meet, but its highly unlikely that I'll make this one- been suffering all week with a bug and feel particularly wiped out today. At least it saves me washing the car in the rain.

Advanced in the sense that I'm the only one who completed your route and overtook a few dawdlers

It was pretty wet and bumpy on the Fosse though, it'd be good to do it again on a nice sunny day

Hi was a good turn out seeing the weather was so bad, nice to see evryone. I will post some more of the same pics later. Now to find that oil leak I seem to have developed during the meet... Nice pic of my knackered piston by the way!!

Looks like the meet was really good, my Coupe was in Kenilworth at my mums, but sadly I was in Edinburgh at home, will try and make sure we are both in Kenilworth for the next meet.
Didn't see any pics of the yellow coop on Birches Lane with the LED rear lights, whoever owns that?
Will have to keep more of an eye on the forum so I can make sure I can come next time!

Nice to get together again and have a drive and a natter over a drink. I felt a bit left being in the scooby but still fun none the less and I was the only white car, these red ones are so common
