Hello all! Finally a bit of good news on the LED rear light front. The lights i have managed to find are THESE They have a normal brake light/indicators etc with LED sidelights. They should fit quite nicely into the 'buckets' into which the normal coupe lights sit with a bit of fettling. I havent discussed discounted prices with the supplier yet until i have a good idea how many people would be interested. Hope thats cleared some stuff up Phill ---Update to the update--- Im still waiting on the exact composition of the lights i.e are the fogs and indicators in the same unit etc. Ill post up info as i get it

Under Phil's supervsion, im helping at looking at various options. After some extensive searching there is a few different options and we are weighing up cost and availability. Im looking down one option (i think the prefered option) and phil is looking at the alternatives Ross

I prefer the configuration where all 4 rings are lit for tail lights, and they all just go brighter for brake lights. Any chance?

We are looking at a different design. The centre section of that LED kit is normal bulbs. Only the sidelights are led's i believe. Im waiting on a price back from suppliers, and also asking for a custom design. Im a fussy bugger and want something special and better than the stnd leds.

i am interested in the red and clear ones in the first post, the otherone (the more common ones) dont look factory enough for me red ones are subtle. Even if there is no revers e or fog i will still be intereted, can always rig something else up for that i am sure Paul R

There is some ideas for running the first post LED's but want to persue other ideas first, because of the fog/reverse issue.

im in a similar boat as mattW, if at all possible, also, personally i'd quite like something where you cant see the leds untill they are lit up, somrthing that could look almost OE if you get me

Been in contact with my supplier also, he's trying to arrange a viable solution for the £150 mark.
Me and Ross are also heading down another route with a guy who is able to custom build LED lights and produce enough to keep us all happy

Those have been mentioned many a time. the main problem is cost with them. How do THESE take everyones fancy? Im trying to asscertain what functions they come with but they certainly sound like i will be able to get them in budget. Phill

They're nice and bright and work really well. I bought the red one's. You'll still be left with standard halogen for your indicators though, unless you wire in a resistor to stop the LED bulbs from flashing too fast.

Thanks for the offer dude.
I doubt we will go with the american company, as a custom led lights guy in the uk is prepared to match the design. Once we have a few rough prices, i'll show the design and we can take it from there.

The very top set look pretty nice, - with the red outside ring - the most subtle and factory. I think as you get shinier (is that a word?) then they start to look a bit Clio Lexus Lightish. NED mobile in otherwords Thats just my opinion

If the finished design is of the 'shinier' variety then we should maybe think about having the 'shinier' bit smoked because it might look a bit saxo-chav-tastic which really isn't good on a coop!

It wont be chav tastic. Dont think neither myself or phil would allow that. There is several options. 1. The normal ones that everyone associates LED lights with. 2. The set that pfoe can supply, which are slightly different from the ones shown, but very nice. 3. A custom made set from a led light specialist, which will be made to our specs. Ross

cheers dennisK, but what i meant by OE, was like a mini version of the skyline r33 rear lights so they still have the round circle (afterburner???) effect, but dont look like i ram raided halfords!, as you can see, im not too fussy!!
