Did a double take this morning - someone was apparently doing their rush hour commute to work in an immaculate 1960's Jaguar E-type - certainly stood out amongst the euroboxes. Nearly as nice looking as a Coupe! Ha ha!

It was in an unusual 1960s shade of mushroomy metallic though, which wasn't the most flattering colour for this model (fixed head), but I was impressed that this approx. £30k classic was actually being used on a frosty Welsh Winter morning rather than living in a heated garage in London!

Just back from my trip to Perth in Western Australia where I caught up with some members of the Fiat Lancia Club of WA.

Saw a real Stratos and a replica, a Lambda, Fulvia, Monte Carlo, Delta Intergrale HF (16V motor which looked very similar to mine - wonder why?) and a few restored Fiats from the 1920s. But no Coupes!!

The other night I saw a D type Jag left all alone under the bridge on the West Cross Route in Shepherds Bush. Didn't look too safe.
