Speedy do you know if you are running the standard EBV (electrical bleed valve) in fact what model of coupe do you have? change your avatar, that will help everybody and most of all you!

Speedy.

Go to my stuff/my profile then select the avatar choice down the bottom. Select the colour and model.

Where's the clean EBV how-to? couldn't see it in the section before but I'm at work at the mo. I'd give that a go next.

Ten points to Stanley! Give that a go speedy, if you are NOT running a manual PRV/Bleed valve. If you are running the latter, it will be hanging around the EBV somewhere connected to the red and blue labelled hoses that go to the EBV as standard.

Like Pinin says, hopefully that guide will fix it, if not go buy a PRV and dont ring your local Fiat dealership unless you fancy a good laugh.

He has a manual boost valve. There is no way the ebv would run 1.7 bar. The ecu would knock it back.

If the EBV is sticking open or partially open, how can the ECU knock it back?

Fair play. But i reckon it can cut the boost totally.

It'd go into "limp home mode" but if the EBV was stuck, tough titty! Could be a manual PRV set by a chav, guess there's only one way to find out!
