There is of course another factor to consider here, which would also be a positive.

Chavs are known to be reckless, crap drivers, and are mostly used to driving things like Saxos and Citroen AXs. The Coupe is considerably more powerful than what they're used to, and can be quite dangerous when driven recklessly in the wet.

Now as long as no decent human beings are hurt as a result of the above, then surely the odd knackered old Coupe could be sacrificed for the greater good \:D

There's another way of looking at it - it's evolution, and good news.

Cars which cost £25k new and were out of my league are now available to people for a fifth of the price, giving them an experience they would never have had.

Ditto TVRs. Some fetched £50k when they left the factory. Now much cheaper and available to people like Yours Truly .

Carl, if you're seriously not going to be doing Coupe parts for the forseeable future, then I may well sell mine before it needs something else replacing!

hmm, it seems that Coupes are finally heading towards the "Classic Status" that people predicted for then ten years ago. Of course the only ones that really appreciate will be unmodded and in great condition.
