Turbo is sorted

But air is not flowing through the intercooler properly giving me only 3 PSI of base boost (no leaks). The PRV is not going on until I've fitted an Evo intercooler next week, and so it's practically an N/A car until then.

I took it back to the racing line again a couple of weeks ago for them to find my boost leak. we held it steady at 3500rpm and there was no air escaping from anywhere. The in pipe to the FMIC was rock solid with pressure and the out pipe was limp (3 psi)

Evo 6 onwards intercooler is supposed to be the way to go. Anything should be better than the Pace anyway.

OK guys - update time.

Having phoned TDi North, I was given no info over the phone but asked to email details and they'd get back to me. This was the reply;

Hi Craig,

Approx 10 cars would be fine on a Saturday

On a dyno power run day we do not perform/check AFR, Knock, etc

Each car has 2 runs and one printout

Cost per car is £30 per car cash

It was a different story at Dyno Demon though. Very helpful and can organise an event on either Saturday or Sunday.

They DO check AFR and use Charge Sensor / monitor boost circuit etc. They also carry out 3 runs as opposed to 2 and provide 2 printout graphs; Power V Torque and AFR V Boost. They'll also spend time with each owner to explain the printouts and make suggestions if necessary.

Minimum of 10 cars required at a cost of £40 per car.

In the spirit of being pro-active, they've offered us the weekend of 8th / 9th March to run an event. I don't know if this will work for people but I'll start a list and take it from there.

The only choice you've got really is to go to Dyno Demon as I'm sure most people will want the fuelling check, as really that should be the main reason for going!

Doubt I will be ready for that early in March, in fact I know I won't, so I'm out!

OK I've told Dyno Demon that I'll confirm or decline on Monday so that gives people 3 days to confirm or decline. If we get 10 cars then I'll confirm it and we can accept more entries later if necessary.
