If it was Mid March I'd come along as think I'll be free that weekend (Sev's away to Glasgow) but think I may be away with work on the 2nd..

Managed to get on quite early.

Run 1 : Schoolboy error. Forgot to reduce the pressures on the tyres. Also the 1/4 mile was icy, so it was rather slippy. 80mph wheelspin.

Run 2 : Reduced pressures but gave it too much "big licks" off the line and wheelspin through the gears.

Run 3 : Better launch but didnt switch to hi boost as was wheelspinning at 1 bar.

Run 4 : Better again and the 1/4 was drying out.

Run 5 : Best run of the day. 2.2 - 60ft and 13.7 - 1/4

Run 6 : Slower launch and forgot to switch to hi boost until in 3rd.

Run 7 : Not bad launch but slipped it into 5th by accident instead of 3rd

Overall it was a good practise session, but it was 45 mins between runs for the last 2 runs so it wasnt worth staying.

109mph. Slightly missed a gear on that run.

Well it did warm off. But my first 2 runs were laughable. Both 15 secs.

The weather for the last week has been like that, icy in the morning and warmer in the afternoon.

Hopefully the next day one will give you a bit more grip

I was hoping you would do a bit better Ross but then again I think this shows how difficult the 1/4 mile is even with a 335bhp car nicely prepped!! Give it a few more runs and you'll start to get some lower times
