Looking at buying this 1997 20VT, just want your opinions:

70K miles
FSH
Cambelt, tensioners and w/pump done at 60K
Sprint blue
Leather
Sunroof (no AC)
VGC- runs fine.

8 months warranty...

£2750
Good deal?

Price is reasonable and from the description it sounds decent enough. Where has it been serviced? Have you ran an HPI check (£5 from the RAC)?

John

Sunroof and no aircon is the best option! \:#

Sprint blue \:\(

Still sounds like a good deal, very good if you can knock any off the asking price.

Not sure on where the servicing was done- il find out though.
Will be doing an HPI before any money exchanges... Although the owner says its clear.
From the paperwork, it looks as though the car hasnt had a new clutch yet, so could be a future £400 expense...

Leather can be a bit of a liability without AC in the summer. The sunroof will help. Just go and see it (armed with the buyers guide) and see what you think \:\)

Yeah, personally I really like the sprint blue..

Trouble is iam unable to see it until April as iam away, but the seller has agreed to hold the car for me if I send a small deposit.
Anybody in the Gloucestershire area wanna earn a little cash to check it out for me......?

How quick do you need someone to look at it James, I'm 30 mins away and could plan a visit one weekend.
