FCCUK "V" SXOC Rolling Road Day - 5th July 08 #560156

Following on from a successful (for most of us smile ) Rolling Road Day at Dyno Demon, I've agreed to try to organise / liaise another day at the same venue, only with a twist. laugh

The SX Owners Club suggested a joint event over the Summer. This developed into trying to accomodate the upcoming TOTB VII on 27th July.

As a result, I've contacted Julian at Dyno Demon to check on availability. They're unavailable for the last 2 weekends in June and the British GP takes place on the 12th - 13th June. That leaves us with 5th - 6th July and Julian has reserved Saturday 5th July.

As it's Summer, DD are willing to operate into the early evening if necessary and estimate that they can get a maximum of 30 cars through.

This will be the same format as last weekend; 3 Power Runs and 2 printed graphs per car and the staff will explain the results and make suggestions etc. Cost will be £40 per car and I think that everyone who was there on Saturday would agree that the levels of customer service and facilities were excellent.

The SX boys are running some decent power (see link below) so it'd be nice if we could get some of our big power guys to this (Eldinho, Ross and Nigel have already expressed interest). However as always, everyone will be most welcome regardless of power output.

So who's up for this? Please post interest / confirmation below.

smile

I've got a wedding on that weekend so won't be able to come along. I wish I could though, I reckon it'll be a cracking day.

Unless it's your wedding of course! :D'

No mines on the 3rd May shocked smile

I think i'll try and come for the morning and then mysteriously break down meaning I'd have to stay at DD and miss the wedding tongue

Take the PRV off and go back to the standard EBV till you get a Greddy sorted. That way you'll have peace of mind knowing that it won't overboost. smile

Just thought of something else. How about running a table showing total cost of mods V performance gains? smile

Craig - I have a spreadsheet that I put together a couple of years ago for exactly this purpose - I'll see if I can find it

At the last Coupe/200SX bash at Santa Pod, each club brought their secret weapon

the 200SX boys brought the white S13 - running about 600bhp at the time, with drag tyres and totally stripped out.

I brought the "Fiat 40v non turbo" aka the 355 wink

I was expecting to be whupped, as the 355 is booked at 13.0 seconds and the S13 had done low 11s / high 10s.

However, he had fuelling issues and the crank pulley fell off, which meant that Italian honour was upheld - I actually beat Ferrari's own time by posting a 12.89
