You're welcome to stay though, might want to bring an airbed and a sleeping bag, not sure how many we have staying over now.

Looks like I can't make tonight now which is a shame. Was looking forward to a barbie in a strange town! See you tomorrow though - looks as though we're on for a dry day so new tyres being fitted for the occasion!

16's? Your having a laugh, more like 19's! Was hooning it about on the way back from the tip about an hour ago, it's going to clock about 75mph as the terminal i reckon

Why??? Put some Coupe badges on it, it wont look any more out of place than the MR2's that'll be trying to sneak on the 355 stand!

Just got back from Santa Pod - I reckon there must have been ~30 coops in the FCCUK area plus various others dotted around. I think the threat of rain must have put a lot of people off particularly the Ferrari OC who seemed to be entirely absent Amazingly there was hardly a spot of rain and the coops seemed to get a lot of runs in Congrats to Sheiks(?) for putting a string of 12s in and winning the top Fiat award
Here's a few pics of the day ...

Great day had out & meeting some fellow fccuk'ers! Had 7 runs and got some "average" times, but I had a major problem with traction with my runs - was wheel-spinning all the way up to 3rd/70ish mph on a few of them !!

And a thankyou to CrazyCoop for the 3 Porto showdowns we had!! Hope you are glad you have lost your 'Pod virginity!!

oil cooler pipes blew. luckily it happened in the 'pit lane'... so fingers crossed it'll be a replacement job, oil change and back on the road.

Well I had a sod of a day all in all!

As JohnS said the exhaust blew off the downpipe on launch of the first run. (thanks for the help getting it back on mate!) That was loud! Then I got back at it in the afternoon and was getting quicker only to loose oil pressure as I was pulling up to let the car cool down - still dont know exactly what the issue is - but pretty damn sure it's the oil cooler / pipes. Just hope the Engine's OK.

had a few good runs - one with Leight was cool (anyone got that on video?)- not a huge ammount in it apart from his car pulling noticeably stronger at the top end at the end of second / third from 5,500 ish. Nice little blat with Marcus and Flea on the way up as well.

Looks like Flea is starting to get the hang of launching. I was utterly pathetic really. Struggling to get into the 13's - which the car is more than capable of.

Taffy - please teach me how to launch!

was a bit dissapointed at the lack of supercars that turned up - but a nice day for the coops.
