So I've spent large amounts of wedge on: Bilstein Shocks, aux belts, thermostat, wheel-bearing, and some stuff for the NCT (Irish mot).

My car is a 2000 20vt with the group buy sports seats. I've given her a good polish and I've bought myself a cushion to cure the lumbar pain the seats give me \:\(

I have a few quid left in my coop fund as I'm happy with the touch-ups I've done to the scratches, so I won't be sending it to a bodyshop.

So assuming I can get the chip on the windscreen fixed cheap-ish, I have maybe €200 (£160) to spend on a treat.

What would you buy?
So far I am thinking one or more of:
refurbed fuel cap
gearknob
Strut brace
barnacle widget
HIDs

well obviously. with your gammy back you'd have to go for one of those wooden-bead seat cover thingies.

HIDs are a very good buy too.

HIDs for the win. Nice to be able to see the road ahead \:D
Get a strut brace as well very good addition.
Do the fuel cap yourself just get all the old lacquer of with a stripper \:o then clean up with very fine wet and dry and polish to high shine with autosol and then just redo with the autosol when it starts to get dull.

Buy a couple of Gerry cans and fill them with petrol. You'll have your cash spent and combusted in about 2 weeks! \:D \:D

What about chrome rings for the dash?

Strut brace - definitely. Get a Whiteline rear ARB as well (19mm). Handling first - bling 2nd! \:\)

Out of the choice on your list, my order of purchase would be:

1. Barnacle Widget
2. HID's
3. Strut Brace
4. Refurbed fuel cap
5. Gearknob

Although 5 becomes 1 if you have no gear knob at all on the car \:D

After I have sorted out my warped discs, the first thing I want to sort is to fit some HIDs.

I test drove a Coup with some on and they looked soooo cool.

IMO you only really need to upgrade the dipped beam, full beam are just fine. Which means you've only spent about £70, so if you stretched the budget a tiny bit further you could go the whole hog and get the widget too.
