I went along with my girlfriend great day. I live in Bristol so nice and close. Wanted to say hello to a few of you but it didn't really pan out. Most coop's didn't have anyone by them and the few times I passed the mighty Flea's car he was busy chatting. Anyway great day and good to see some shiny coop's holding there own (as always)

Got back just after lunch today having stayed over last night. An excellent day overall spoiled only by our location - we'll know better next year. Nice to meet up with some more new faces as well as finally meeting Leighton - didn't realise you were that young mate! Good selection of cars and bikes made better by nice, sunny weather. I'm not normally into scooters but the Bristol Mods SC were really enjoying themselves and not taking it too seriously - fair play to you lads. Cheesy was also there with the Aprilla Owners Club - nice one matey. The "Start Your Engines" times were awesome with some serious sounds going on. Despite our location, once I'd opened the bonnet, we got a lot of interest and a lot of questions - very enjoyable. Overall, it was well worth the 2 hours 10 minute journey - all within the speed limits Officer, honestly. Can I suggest that for next year and any other subsequent main Shows, that we book as an Owners Club so that we are all together and hopefully with a decent location? I have no problem volunteering for this if no-one else wishes to take it on. Taffy's photos are very similar in content to mine but I'll post them up later anyway. Finally, thanks to Andy (Sumplug) for the directions and support - hope things work out for you mate and Julie recommends cold showers and bromide for your condition!

All in all a good day. Very lucky with the weather but dissapointed at my location which was even worse than MABR's. I was the furthest Coupe from "the action" I met up with Tom who is the owner of the gorgeous Moon Grey metallic coupe (best coupe there IMHO) and stood looking into Flea's engine engine bay while there was a gaggle standing around. Didn't get to speak to him though. I took some video which I'll post on here once I done some editing.

I had a good chat with Tom and have to agree, and i told him, his is probably the smartest coupe i've ever seen - it was spotless!! Really nice couple, even though i thought they were from Ireland as their plates had an I on them (it actually represented Italy). Doh!!

Hi guys, what a great day that was! It was great to meet you all, putting faces to coops is always interesting!
I had an elderly couple approach me at the show, easily past their retirement age and proceeded to tell me how they've owned a 20vt from new and that they adore it and have never found a car to surpass it (they bought a brera last year as a comparison!). But what amazed me the most was the fact that the chap had fitted a boost gauge too.......meeting them was one of many highlights that day!
The weather was superb, atmosphere electric and company superb, meeting each and every coop owner (and partners) there was a pleasure. For me its what makes owning a coop such a great experience.
But overall, from a personal point of view, the best bit of the day was the adulation my friend had for his Lancia Delta Integrale. I know how much time, effort and money he's put into that car and he's never once shouted about it. He's quietly laboured over that car, never gone out for attention (garages it for 8 months of the year) and is as humble and friendly as they come, so for him to receive such amazing praise (i mean ALL day people asking him about it, I'd say had more attention than the lambo's around us) was really rewarding for him. As we left Bristol a bloke leaned out of his beamer and in the most passionate, almost aggressive voice, shouted "THAT'S F$$KING GORGEOUS!", top moment for a top day. Anyway, as a result of the show, Performance Tuner magazine have proposed a feature on his car as they described it as "extremely nice and rare, we're very interested!".
See you all there next year, I'm sorry I didn't give prior warning to those stuck down St Nicklaus's street but until friday I didn't know our location. Mind you, we arrived there at 7.30am and 5 mins later 5 others turned up who would've had our prime spot so getting there early was a must! And also sorry for not saying goodbye to you all, I got badgered by my bro and friends to leave early (they had been up since 4.30!) and in the rush forgot to come and see you guys.
Some great pics there too eveyone, I'll hopefully get some up in due course!
